I love the thought of doing a one year anniversary shoot! After all the engagement and wedding photos, it’s nice to have images to commemorate your MARRIAGE! This shoot at the Santa Monic Pier is super cute with it’s bright colors and carefree feeling. Melissa Brandman definitely captured the love that Courtney and Aaron still have for each other after one year of marriage.Here is what Courtney had to say about her shoot:
“We were married in Santa Monica on April 25, 2009. We decided to do an anniversary shoot because we loved our engagement photos and our wedding photos but we wanted some beach photos because we hadn’t taken any before (and once you have professional pictures done, it’s really hard to settle for point-and-shoot pictures of your own!) Also, you are supposed to give each other “paper” on your first anniversary so I thought it might be a fun take on the tradition. Santa Monica was the perfect place because we met in law school in Malibu. At the time we met, I was living in an apartment in Santa Monica so most of our dates took place there. After we got married, we lived in that apartment for a few months as well before moving up to Malibu.”
